HPV Webinar

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the evening, the PA Immunization Coalition (PAIC) will be offering a free, live “Let’s Talk” webinar entitled, “Promoting Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination in Primary Care and Dental Practices,” with speaker Victor Alós-Rullán, DMD, MPH, MS.

The webinar will be recorded for later replay on demand. The focus of this webinar is HPV and oropharyngeal cancer, now the most common HPV-related cancer. Dentists and staff will learn valuable information about HPV, the HPV vaccine, and key resources to encourage vaccine uptake. Effective communication strategies will be discussed to encourage patients and their families to receive HPV vaccine.  AMA Category 1.5 credits will be offered for the live webinar, and PA Dental Association credits will be offered for the recorded replay-on-demand.
